GPL 你可以免费使用，但修改后必须开源。

GPLv3 你可以免费使用，但修改后必须开源，不允许加入闭源商业代码。

BSD 你可以免费使用，修改后可不开源，基本上你可以我所欲为。

Linux 中有许多BSD代码，但BSD却不能移植Linux 代码到BSD中，这是因为GPL License。
